First thing that comes up is that I used to be such a bitch. It was my way as the “right” way, while erroneously thinking that I was such an open, and accepting person. I’m especially thinking of the period in my life when I was a vegetarian. I was soooopo spiritual and enlightened. Snarkkkhh! Not. But it is how easily I was able to fool myself into thinking that I was that amuses me now.
Maybe it’s Chronos’ Fault
Nice sentiments, and I will admit that it is a better message than “We are all sinners and the Devil is about to devour us for eating that cream puff” nonsense. But still, it rankled. I think the god Chronos makes more sense. His sentiment is, “Be true to yourself, whoever that might be at the time.”
Day 1: Confetti Head
t the wonders of the universe? I would love to go to Space Camp, for example. My husband is the same way, infinitely curious and interested in the world. The last time we went to San Diego’s Balboa Park museums, we ventured into a science room full of gadgets, “please touch me” thingies, videos, games, and more. We were having a great time! For a while we were the only ones there, but about 30 minutes later, we looked up at the now full room and discovered that we were the tallest people there! Well there were others, but they were patiently looking on as their offspring enjoyed the wonders of the universe. Laughing about it, we continued to enjoy the fun.
The Age of Aquarius…Are we in it?
It seems these days that every metaphysically-minded person is saying we are in the Age of Aquarius. Well, putting aside the fact that many people believe Astrology is bunk, let’s examine the facts.
People declaring that the beginning of this Utopian Age was upon us goes back decades. Most notably, because of the “Summer of Love” many people said the Aquarian Age started in the 1960s. This was fueled by the hit musical play, Hair and its signature song, The Age of Aquarius.
Chaos 2020, June Astrology
Astrologers have been blowing the horns of warning for at least a decade if not more that 2020 would bring huge changes in nearly every aspect of life on earth.
The gathering powerhouse planets have and are coming together in great clashes and in bellicose banging, clanging, and roaring. A planetary maelstrom of powerful energies twisting and distorting the way things were into the way they will be.
Beyond Traditional Astrology – Uranian Part 1: Cupido
You can see, and probably have already figured out, that traditional astrology is like an intricate, complex mandala. I’m not complaining, I love astrology and the hunt for just the right interpretation of the beautiful web of patterns that horoscopes create to tell a story. But what if there was a way to discover even more? There is; Uranian astrology, sometimes called the Hamburg School, Moveable Dial, and a few other names that are more obscure.
The Astrology of the Big Cycle of Transformation and Change – Planets on a Rampage – 2020-2026
Pluto is still in Capricorn (isn’t it there for fricken’ EVER) and it is doing battle in the skies to remake the mess humans have made of the world. It all started in 2008 and will continue through 2030, even after Pluto moves out of Capricorn in 2024. One referee in this turbulent time is the minor planet, Eris.
Eris is a newcomer to the astrology family. Named for the female counterpart to Mars, she is the goddess of war. Only discovered in 2005 and beyond Pluto, her wild elliptical orbit takes 558 years to go around the sun.
